Characteristics of multimedia

 

The use of multimedia technology makes sense wherever information is communicated. The advantage of multimedia over traditional media, such as a classical computer, printed materials or a movie, lies in the integration of different media in the using of interaction techniques . Application of interaction means that the computer responds to input from the man, giving him the opportunity to choose what, when, where, how often, and in what order he wants to see and hear. Thus, only a computer provides the ability to connect a variety of media to interactive transmission of information, thus creating a completely new way of communicating and solving problems. Multimedia technology also carries risks for teaching, because the computer integrating other media, and thus replaces it. This may be perceived by some teachers as an impoverishment of the forms and means of expression used by the teacher. It is known, however, that the computer is no substitute for direct contact between the teacher and students. Important here is an experience, that allows the teachers using the multimedia presentation find the right relation between what shows the presentation and what he has to say.

My New Life

Abeer a year ago  is totally different than  Abeer now. This year was a flip in my life .

I lost so many people I was so much disappointed in many situations  I really suffered from so many problems that make me much stronger. I did so many changes in my life....I changed the way I look I lost too many weight .. I changed the place where I was living I changed my job place and I registered at my university LIU to continue my masters study .... all these happened this year, yes I was so much sad because the problems that I was passing through .. Yes I was disappointed  but I'm now happy, satisficed and thankful to my god that I Trust , My God that gave me the strength to continue without looking back ... Thanks to the LIFE that teaches  me not to cut off people , just grow , and they will fall alone 

Challenges you face when learning/teaching online

It has been a challenging period of time for all teachers, all around the world. We cannot deny that fact. All of a sudden, and because of something that is totally out of our control, students are learning remotely and both educators and administrators are in the permanent search of new tools and paths to face challenges they haven’t faced before.

Integrating Technology in to Teaching

 I Think that Integrating Technology into Teaching is some thing so important especially these days. During Covid 19 and teaching online, teachers integrate technology in their teaching methods and tools so this benefits classroom through increasing: engagement students who use technology in the classroom may be more engaged, collaboration, technology makes it easier for students to collaborate, productivity and creativity.

EDUC561 Class

 I found this class one of the most useful classes in my study and also in teaching. It improves my skills in teaching and learning processes, these new applications and programs help me in my study and I use them in other courses. Beside that I found it so helpful especially these days while we are teaching online , so I directly applied what I am taking from the class and my students are so much motivated and engaged. Also, I should not forget that Doctor Amal is doing her best teaching us new things and facilitating every thing to us and she is being with us step by step to overcome any problem that we may face in our learning process . I hope we all in the class can benefit too much especially these days  while we are facing the hardest health, economical and political problems in our country Lebanon .
